Oreck Steam-It Mop Giveaway!

**This giveaway is closed.**

I shared how much I like my Oreck Steam-It a few weeks ago and now it’s time for the giveaway!

First of all, I want to clear up some things.  I received a few comments on my review post expressing concern about using a steam mop on hardwood floors.  My floors are nailed down and sealed.  (You can read my floor refinishing story if you want to understand the full extent of my DIY insanity!)  The Steam-It also has different heat settings, so I can set the mop to a lower setting when using it on the hardwoods.  I also have linoleum floors and it does an amazing job on those.  A steam mop is not recommended for use on most laminate floors and wood floors if they are aren’t sealed or are glued down.  There are so many uses for the Steam-It, though, that it’s a great tool even if you don’t use it on your floors.  You can use it to clean glass, tile, grout, counters, appliances, carpets, fabric, upholstery and the list goes on.  It can even be used upside down!  It’s a great all-around cleaning tool and a nice option if you want to thoroughly clean and disinfect without using harsh chemicals.

I love how clean it gets my floors…

As I said in my review, it’s “walk over it with your white socks and your white socks are still white kind of clean.”  All of the dirt goes on the cloth cover that can then be washed in the washing machine.

So, would you like to win an Oreck Steam-It to use in your home?  If you would, simply leave a comment and you’ll be entered to win!

The giveaway is for ONE Oreck Steam-It mop and will run through Sunday, April 8, 2012, at midnight EST.  It is only open to residents of the lower 48 US states and readers over the age of 18.

Oreck is currently running a $10,000 sweepstakes, so click HERE to enter for a chance to win that.  If you’re interested in purchasing an Oreck product, now is the time.  Use the promo code SPRINGCLEANUP at Oreck’s website through tomorrow night and save 20% off your purchase!

This is a great prize, so good luck to all!

**Oreck sent me a free Steam-It and paid me to host this giveaway, but all of the words, thoughts and opinions are my own. I wouldn’t recommend this product if I didn’t really love it and think my readers would love it as well. Oreck‘s pretty confident about that as well. You can try any of their products for 30 days and if you don’t love it, you don’t have to keep it.

I’m so sorry for neglecting to select and announce winners for the Wuslu giveaway.  Here they are…

The winner of the willow basket with glass insert is…
