A Special Lucketts Giveaway

We are in the thick of getting prepared for the Lucketts Antique Market. I took a break to open a lovely package I received from Jami of Freckled Laundry, though.  She makes the sweetest stuff.
She sent me some of her clay tags and a lavender sachet from Maria of Dreamy Whites.  Love!
Anyway, back to work.
I started the day by getting a hair cut and then went to meet my picker, Kelly, at Lucketts.  She found some awesome things for me to “Mustardize.”
My dad repaired a lot of wonky drawers and wobbly furniture…
My mom painted and painted and painted…
I even put my babysitter to work making glitter letters!
I’m tired and excited and filled with anticipation and hope for good weather.
I know many are coming from all over the US and I can’t wait to give hugs to each of you. I know you’re traveling to find great stuff, but I do want to reward someone for making the long trip and for coming to see me.  So, we’re going to have a little contest.  Whoever is traveling the furthest to get to the Lucketts Antiques Market will get a $50 spending spree at my space.
Here’s how it’s going to work.  Leave a comment on this post letting me know how many miles it is from your address to 42350 Lucketts Road, Leesburg, Virginia 20176.  You don’t need to post your address, just the extact number of miles.  This contest will be open until Thursday at midnight EST.  If you are traveling the furthest, you win!  I will announce the winner on my blog on Friday.
Since you’re traveling, I can even ship what you buy, if it’s too big for the plane.  Well, within reason, ladies!  No furniture.  (If you’re already beat out by someone who left a comment, leave a comment anyway with your distance.  I will be giving out consolation prizes!)
If you plan on coming to the fair, please leave a comment as well, so I can look out for you and not look like a deer in headlights when you run up to me!  (Although that will probably happen anyway!)
We’re off to get some more work done…
Oh, the winner of the chalk paint giveaway (which had almost 1000 entries) is…
Barb Nichols!! She looks like the artsy sort who will use it well.  Congratulations, Barb!

  11. 101.89 miles. I'm hoping to be there Saturday, but not 100% sure yet. Hubby can't go, and he doesn't want me driving that far alone since my car is sometimes tempermental. Trying to convince my sis in law to come with me! If I'm there, I'm Melissa, from Kensington Cottage. Don't worry, I won't expect you to remember me! 🙂

There is always so much to take in at Lucketts and this year promises to be the best yet. Last year I met you and your sweet dad. I was so inspired that I started blogging a few weeks later. What a whirlwind year! So looking forward to saying hello again. See you at Lucketts!
