all set & a winner

I finished up all of the little things for Lucketts today and I think I have done all I possibly could.  Here are some final pictures before I hit the hay…

I’ll be selling loose lavender by the scoop.  My silver baby cup makes a perfect measuring device.

I have lots of beautiful dried lavender bunches in two different sizes.

We spent this afternoon bundling them all, so we feel nice and relaxed!

I finished up a few more signs.  This one may be my favorite sign that I have ever made.

I will also be bringing this hand painted wooden box that I finished yesterday.

Everything is priced, packed, and ready to go for tomorrow.  I’ve baked cupcakes, put fresh batteries in the cameras and have crossed everything off my list.  I am filled with anticipation and ready to get some good sleep before the fun starts early tomorrow.  If I don’t see you there, you’ll get to see some of the action on video and I’ll definitely take lots of photos.
And the winner of the $50 gift certificate to my space is…
Shanann’s mom, who is traveling 2822.90 miles from California!  Come see me tomorrow or Sunday to claim your prize.

  8. A fellow Californian! Oh my gosh, can I add to her stash? I am so darn excited for you Marian, what a wonderful experience for you and such hard work you put into it all. I wish I was there with you to ring up all those customers! Good luck, relax and enjoy the moment.

  9. I'm a fan mms and but have to say that sign looks really rushed. The letters are wonky and and too squashed in places and the font lacks continuity, the font at the bottom even more so, it looks like it's been painted with the wrong size and style of brush not allowing for enough control. I don't think the time spent warrants the $245 price tag.

  10. Hi Miss Mustard Seed, I so wish I could come to your show, but I'm in Australia . Wishing you the best of luck . Your blog is inspiring xx

  19. So Sad to miss out on going to Lucketts, as a "consolation" hubby graciously agreed to babysit the Little Monkey this morning so I could go yard saleing, it wasn't quite the same, but I am happy. HOpe all is going well and you are selling lots!

  20. I got the opportunity to drive up to attend the event. I had loads of fun and it was an honor to finally met MMS. I spoke with her mom and got a roll of frog tape and had a cupcake. The weather was amazing and it's true MMS is so sweet, talented and her work is even better in person. I think you did an amazing job today. Your booth looked wonderful. The stuff was flying out like hot cakes.
