The launch of my new book, Move Slow & Make Things, is one week away! This is when the nerves start to kick in. I’ve done everything I can to make a beautiful book, and now it’s in the hands of the readers. Of course, I have dreams for this book. I hope it does well and it speaks to the people who need it most.

For this giveaway, I’m so excited to partner with Iron Orchid Designs. I had the opportunity to collaborate with Sally of IOD on a collection of Christmas transfers using my oil painting. In the book, I write about making room for others and making connections. We can create on our own, but I believe our creative work greatly benefits from collaboration and partnering with like-minded artists. Working with Sally on these transfers pushed me as an artist and showed me some possibilities with my work that I hadn’t considered. (I’ll share more about the creation of this collection in a future post.)
