I’m finally getting around to some Christmas stuff for this year. First of all, I cleared most of the Christmas decorations out of my room at Lucketts when I moved and I had some things left over to sell. I just listed five of my hand glittered “Christmas” banners in my Etsy shop, so head over there if you’re interested in purchasing one.

Also, I was invited by Mrs. Limestone to be involved in a little blog fun. She asked some of her favorite bloggers to be a part of a secret Santa gift exchange. So fun, right? I bought something really cool from Lucketts to send to my assigned blogger and something I made. I hope she likes them…our styles are a little different. Anyway, it was fun to stop the hustle and bustle and put together a pretty package for someone. I can’t wait to get my gift and share it with all of you. Maybe you can help me figure out who my secret Santa is…
Lastly, I’m hoping to get my Christmas tree up within the next few days. My poor husband looked around the family room yesterday and said, “Hey..why don’t we have a Christmas tree up, yet?” It wasn’t a jab at me or anything, but a genuine question. While the rest of the world is decking the halls, I was actually setting up my front porch for Halloween. Mini and I joked that people driving by would start heckling me. “You’re two months late!” “It’s Christmas you moron!” Thankfully, the people in my small town are polite and probably just muttered those things to themselves and think I’m a little crazy. It is time, though, to get those Halloween projects finished, so I can put up a tree and enjoy the season.
