Well, another Lucketts Spring Market has come and gone. I’ve made it clear to everyone that I will be chilling, watching a lot of Netflix and catching up on some things this week.  I will do work if and when I want to!  A sort of stay-cation. I have a lot to share about the spring market this year, so it’s going to be split into several posts.  It’s just too much for one!  I have over 350 pictures to sort through, plus I need a chance to process everything.  There were awesome moments mixed with challenges.  I’m sore, sunburned and sport a few bruises, but overall, it was an amazing blessing and a total blast.  Day one at Lucketts was a crazy blur!  We have tons of pictures and I’ll tell you all about it, but I am totally whipped tonight, so I’ll keep this short and sweet. I had plenty of time this year to get the booth set up exactly as I wanted. When the gates were opened, our booth was mobbed!  It was mahem and the ironstone was flying.  I was smiling at the women with armloads of ironstone, passing pitchers and tureens to my “guys” to hold for them while they scooped up more. We sold so much stuff that I was starting to wonder if I would have anything left at the end of the day, but I do!  Since there is a day two of Lucketts, I thought I would share some of the big pieces that are left… The Eulalie’s Sky cabinet didn’t sell!  I couldn’t believe it,

The Lucketts Spring Market is just one week away!   I teeter between bring-it-on and give-me-just-another-week!  I’ve already started stalking the weather report and my pile of finished furniture and packed boxes is rapidly growing. This week is about finishing the pieces (mostly upholstery) that I’ve been procrastinating on and doing some easy last-minute things like sewing pillows, glittering tiaras, making SOLD tags and tagging items I bought on my trip to Virginia.  I’ll also try to squeeze in some last minute shopping, if I can.  The truck gets packed up Thursday night and we’ll haul everything down on Thursday.  I usually wait to set up until Saturday morning, but last year we had a morning drizzle and I ran out of time.  I was still unpacking boxes when the crowds descended and I hated that.  I work so hard and have a plan in my head and I am
