Hello, all!  If you’ve been following along, you know I’ve been up to my neck in all things Lucketts.  I’m finally started to dig myself out and it’s right onto the next thing.  I usually don’t have so many things stacked up in a row, but it’s just a busy time.  Once I make it through June 11, I have a pretty open calendar and will schedule a few rest days.  Until then, it’s onward!  Since I really still feel like I’m in spring market mode, I decided to focus my features on favorite finds and shops instead of makeovers this week.  Well, it looks like everyone is in the full furniture refinishing swing of things with warmer weather and sunnier skies.  I know it has helped a lot with my motivation in my own home and yard and as I’ve been getting ready for my biggest event of the year.  I’ve been up to my elbows in furniture makeovers, painting sanding, upholstery, etc., so it was nice to take a step back and enjoy browsing some of your projects.  As always, you girls (and sometimes guys) are gooooooood.  I’m often blown away.  Before we get to the furniture party tonight, I have something super exciting to share.  My blog BFF, Shaunna from Perfectly Imperfect, is going to be on HGTV!  Dude!  Since we’re blog BFFs and friends in real life, I’ve known about this for a long time and I know it’s been killing her that she had to keep it a secret, but now the cat’s out of the bag and the pilot is going to air this Sunday, May 3, 2015, at 2:00 pm EST.  You can watch a preview of the show and get more details on her blog post HERE. Good evening, everyone!  My mom, Kriste, and I worked super hard today to try to get the rest of my pieces painted for Lucketts.  We got a ton done and, at three weeks out, I’m further along than I’ve ever been.  I still have a lot of upholstery, slipcovers, sewing, etc. to do and I would like to find more smalls/accessories, but I feel like we’re nearing the finish line.  Tomorrow, the three of us are going to do a bit of shopping to hopefully find a good haul of well-priced smalls.  Wish us luck!
