Today I’m heading to Baltimore to board a plane bound for Utah.  We drove through the corner of Utah last summer on our family vacation to Colorado and the Grand Canyon and loved every second of that state through the car windows.  I wish I was going to hike in Zion National Park and take some pictures in Arches, but those will have to wait for another trip.  This trip is about creativity, hanging with friends and sharing my love of milk paint. Today was about getting all of my freelance stuff finished and, I’m happy to say, I was able to do exactly that.  I had a few final photo shoots and a lot of writing to tackle, so that when I get back from the SNAP conference, I can just focus on pieces for Lucketts. My favorite photo shoot of the day was of the handmade breadboard… We have the most amazing bakery right down the street from our house, so I went there to get a rustic French loaf for the shoot.  It definitely made the breadboard look even better. We made two bread boards out of a nasty old board that I think used to be a table leaf.  It was very rough, but I had faith it would look good once cut, sanded and waxed.  I think it looks amazing and the board was only $5, so that’s
