  1. Marian,
I have followed you for years. As you have grown personally and as you have grown your business(s), it has been such a pleasure for me as a mother and grandmother, to observe your energy and innovative spirit. You are one talented gal! You seem to keep things moving forward, all the while being a minister’s wife (I’ve done that too) and mother of two growing boys, not to mention, managing the care of a child with diabetes. ( Our oldest granddaughter is 22 and was diagnosed with type 1 at the age of 7, so we have seen first hand the toll that can take on the family.)

I pray for you as you lead your very busy life, that you will be an encouragement to others, a role model to those trying to get their own ideas implemented, and most of all, the example of a Godly woman to your family.

Love, love, love your studio in this new house. I’m really trying not to be covetous since I am returning to painting after 34 years, and have made a little studio corner of a very large guest room ( with carpet no less), so I can paint without having to put everything away every time I paint. I do hear gratefulness in your attitude as you journal your journey and I love that about you.

I close with something a potter once told me that I quote to myself often, “Process rather than product, for in the making is the finding.” Continue to find joy in all you do.
    My best,
    Alice Decker

  2. I’ve been an Arhaus fan for many years and have always been impressed with the quality and service. We are refurnishing the family room and a collection of their unique pillows would be perfect.
