Sorry about the glitch we experienced last week during FFF hopefully it’ll be smooth sailing tonight!
Today was busy and productive, as we were getting ready for another workshop in the studio tomorrow and filming some Design Ramblings segments. I must say that I enjoy the “creative” days more than the ones with a full schedule of deadline-oriented tasks, but that’s how businesses are sometimes! So, I’ll live vicariously through all of the creative work you share tonight. (Thanks for that!)
Here are my favorites from last week…
I just had to share this beautiful, feminine nursery created by Kristen of Wildwood Chic. The stenciled wall (that took 13 hours) is definitely the show-stopper, but all of the curated (and painted) furnishings and accessories bring the space to life. I also recognize an old friend of mine. Kristen bought the wheeled bunny toy from me at the Chapel Market. It’s so fun to see it in such a good home.
This handsome dresser by Helen Nichole Designs also caught my eye. I think the simplicity of the striking color and classic lines make this piece special.
And in keeping with my other two kid-room-friendly favorites, I think this dresser by Susan of Saw Nail & Paint is fun. The color is cheerful and looks perfect against the gray and white stripes on the wall.
Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…
1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.
2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.
3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF. Enjoy the party!
