I found some really great features for you tonight. There were a lot of great ones, but these three were no-brainers for me to feature. Enjoy the party!
This pair of “map cabinets” actually started life as modern laminate side tables. I had to do a double-take, because it was hard to believe how they started and where they ended up. I love Kristine’s work on the Painted Hive and her style and she really nailed these.
I’ve seen versions of these before, but I love this one made by Liz Marie. I think this is such a clever piece to use as a side table or in a tight spot where floor space is at a premium. It’s also a nice way to add lighting without getting into hardwiring.
I’m going to be totally honest with this one and say that mid-century modern furniture is not my thing. BUT…this one is really lovely. Angela from Number Fifty Three made this piece look not so mid-century modern. It now looks a little softer and classic. I love all of the doodles on the wall, too.
Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…
1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.
2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.
3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF. Enjoy the party!
