I’ve been having a few technical difficulties this evening, so I posted some of these pictures and this information on Facebook and Twitter already. It’s getting late and I know 5:15 am is going to come very quickly, so I’m going to keep this brief.
Today was about all of the last minute details like making “sold” tags. It’s one of those things that won’t make me any money and some people might not care about, but I think it just looks nice to have cute sold tags.
So, if you see a craft tag tied on with a red and white string on a piece, you know it’s sold. (I’m selling some of this string tomorrow, too.)
Speaking of sold, here’s a look at the custom sign I made for Jami of Freckled Laundry. She requested a lavender sign and this is what I came up with.
See? Craft tag on a red & white string = sold.
If you’re coming tomorrow and want to buy a t-shirt, I must apologize in advance if I don’t have the size you need. I went to pick up my reorder yesterday and the style of shirt was sold out! Bummer! So, I only have t-shirts in limited sizes. I have ordered a different brand, though, and will be selling them online soon.
Guess what piece of “MMS signature” furniture ended up with a tag on it today?
GASP! Yep. I know. A moment of silence.
Someone mentioned hoping for one like it and I decided I was okay with selling the original. I’ve loved it for a few years and have photographed it to death and it’s a good time to let it go to a new home where someone else can enjoy it. I know. I can almost hear the “Noooooooooooo”‘s from here! I still love it, but I feel like I can make something similar.
Yesterday, I picked up a pretty walnut harvest table and these two beauties to bring to the fair…
In addition, Mini Mustard Seed (Remember her? She’s all grown up with a baby now), managed to make one paper wreath out of a vintage dictionary for me to bring.
…and I just got in a last minute shipment of the famous French soap that I’ve always loved. I had a block for years (just because I love the look of them) and it finally got gross and I had to pitch it. I did keep a few for myself. No soap photographs like this one. (Is it sad that I look at things in terms of how photogenic they are?)
Yep. Photogenic soap.
…and I made one last sign today…
Does anyone know which miniseries inspired me to make this sign?
I don’t even know how to properly punctuate some of the sentences in this post, but I’m just writing the way I would say it, so that’s what you get. My nickname has never been “Marian Madame Grammarian” and I’m getting a little loopy, so cut me some slack. :)
Everyone pray for a spot of sunshine over Leesburg, Virginia tomorrow! I’ll let you know how it goes…
I’m sure others will be doing this as well, but I know Breida with a B will be blogging, tweeting and social-media-ing it up about the fair tomorrow and Sunday if you want to follow along.
OH! And the person traveling the furthest is Anna Ruth from Florida with 1030 miles on the road to get to Lucketts. I can’t wait to meet you tomorrow. I hope you’re bringing some sunshine from the “Sunshine State”. You know, it was almost always raining when I drove into Florida and saw that sign. I think there is a permanent rain cloud there. Please don’t bring that along.
I told you. Loopy.
