Furniture Feature Friday – Kathleen’s Favorites & a Link Party

I’m still working my way through them, but I have loved reading the random bits about all of you.  Yes, I do read the comments you leave and I have laughed out loud at some of the funny things you have shared.  We could start a little club with people who have freakish thumbs and don’t like mushrooms.  Funny stuff.

Anyway, I mentioned having a guest picker for FFF now and then and one of my sweet blog friends, Kathleen from Between Yellow and Blue, volunteered.

She’s a fellow furniture girl and we had a chance to spend some time together at Haven last year, so I knew she would  pick some good pieces.  (She’s so pretty, too, isn’t she?)

Here’s what Kathleen picked and her commentary…

I love a good vanity make over, but this one takes the cake.  Rachel used an old ice box to create a one of a kind vanity for her bathroom.  I love how she opened up the sides for shelving.

Karen never ceases to amaze me with her ability to turn junk she found in a dumpster, into something beautiful and useful.

And how about this beautiful dresser from 4 the love of wood.  She used arms off of an old chair and attached them to this dresser.

Thanks so much, Kathleen.   I love that vanity!

Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…

1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.

2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.

3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF.

Enjoy the party!

I would love to post a photo but I don’t know what a “permalink” is. Can someone tell me what I should be typing in the field “http” or how to link? Thanks very much

  10. Ooooh…. I have some very cool furniture makeovers in the pipeline, just WAITING to get pretty! Can’t wait to post those!

  11. Score Luv/Luv

Luv 1: You are letting others share both the responsibility and pleasure of picking 4-Fs (FFF Favorites)!
Luv 2: Kathleen chose “4 the love of wood” to receive ‘Favcognition’ (Favorite/Recognition). Kristy is a very talented ‘Revitalist’. She’s been following her for a long time…and she’d from my side of the country!

PS…I have been noodling what to do with a few tennis rackets…does it show?

  12. Different wines serve different purpose and one will slowly
pick on those that taste good to you are indeed
enamoured by the company that made them. The withstander Sergio Porrini was sent for
an online football manager issue as many as possible over time.
Should you prefer to use them for visiting
    nearby places with family.
