All of my honorary moms (and Breida) will be pleased to know that I finally redeemed my 1/2 spa day gift certificate…the one I got for my birthday…last April. I don’t know who in the world waits almost a year to have a massage, pedicure and manicure done, but apparently I am that foolish girl. My nails look pretty, I got all oiled up and pampered. It was really nice. If anyone gives me a massage again, I will not wait that long to get it done. Promise. Anyway, on to my favorites…
I think this DIY rustic TV console from Liz Marie Blog is such a neat piece and I bet they saved a bundle building it themselves. Gotta love DIY. (I love the layered rugs, too!)
Speaking of saving a bundle, Melody from My Passion for Decor made this amazing “Pottery Barn” desk out of some 1980’s oak file cabinets and a slab of wood. I actually had to read through the post to make sure it wasn’t really a PB desk.
Lastly, I have to tip my hat to Deanna of Alchemy Fine Living for rescuing this now beautiful settee. You must see the before picture of this old girl. Deanna is a braver girl than I for tackling it, that’s for sure!
Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…
1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.
2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.
3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF.
Enjoy the party!
