I have thoroughly enjoyed traveling, but it’s so nice to be home! I was basically a loaf today. Slept in, worked on my e-mail and I did have the chance to pick some FFF favorites from last week. Here they are…
I thought this piece by Dionne of The Turquoise Iris is absolutely stunning. The colors, the finish, the hardware, the styling…perfect.
This pantry in the background, featured on the blog whatever, used to be run-of-the-mill stock cabinetry, but some paint totally transformed it AND the entire space. I am fond of paint…in case you hadn’t noticed.
I love everything done by Susan of Maple and Magnolia and this pine bathroom cupboard is no exception. The grey interior with the pine exterior with the rolled up towels with the glass jars filled with soap and natural sponges. I love it all.
Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…
1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.
2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.
3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF.

Thanks so much for hosting Marion – fantastic features – especially love the bathroom cabinet!
Hugs,
Suzan
I’m not a blue person, but the blue chest is spectacular. Maybe because it has a feeling of power behind it. Always love to see your features. Thanks for sharing.

It’s always nice to be home! But it sounds like you had a wonderful time in CA and the hotel looked amazing. Hope you have a great weekend! Oh, and that bathroom cabinet is gorgeous…
Good morning Marian,
Just wanted to let you know that my blog stats always go up on Fridays. Why? Well, it has everything to do with your feature friday link parties. Thanks so much for the encouragement and for introducing people to my blog. Your success is helping all of us flourish. Thanks.
Oh my goodness, Marian! You featured my blue cabinet….and also made me cry…a good cry;) This makes me feel so accomplished to be a feature on your blog. One goal checked off the ole list! Thank you, thank you, thank you! And may you have the merriest of all holidays.

Love your features Marian! I am glad to hear that you love all of Susan’s efforts too. She is very underrated, but supremely talented, and in good company here! Loved the hotel shots, felt as though I traveled too;) Can’t wait to see more!!
Marian,
I know you are super busy but I have a question and since you are the fix it up Queen I’m turning to you. I did Google and found a solution maybe. The problem is I have a brass chandelier that I bought at a thrift store, painted it with Galvanized silver spray paint and love it. Before I could get it hung a friend stumbled and caught herself with it! One of the arms is broken. With a Google search I saw one suggestion for soldering & one for welding. I’m almost sure weld bond putty would not be strong enough. Welding might harm the wiring. What do you think about soldering? Or do you know of another fix?
Thank you and Merry Christmas!! I’m so happy God has blessed all you hard work!

Hmm is anyone else having problems with the images
on this blog loading? I’m trying to find out if its a problem on my end or if it’s the blog.
Any responses would be greatly appreciated.
You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something that
I think I would never understand. It seems too complex and extremely broad for
me. I am looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!
I tend not to leave many comments, however i
And, if you are writing on additional online social sites, I would like to follow everything new you have to post. Would you list of every one of your shared pages like your linkedin profile, Facebook page or twitter feed?
did some searching and wound up here Furniture Feature Friday – Favorites
& a Link Party. And I do have some questions for you if it’s allright. Could it be just me or does it look like a few of the responses look as if they are coming from brain dead folks?
