Furniture Feature Friday – Favorites & Link Party

I hope you all enjoyed a food-and-family-filled Thanksgiving last Thursday.  I certainly did, but it’s always nice to get back into a routine and FFF is a part of that.  Can’t wait to see what you’ve all been up to!  Here are some favorites from two weeks ago…

I love this bright green dresser by Kim at Reposhture Studio.  There’s something beautiful and classic, yet a little spunky about it.

This piece by cathgrace is so unique.  I’ve seen a lot of Union Jack dressers out there, but the way the design is “draped” over the dresser is so pretty.  I also love how portions of it were left natural wood.  Great choices!

Jessica from Dear Emmeline found this antique beauty in the trash.  IN THE TRASH!!!  What the heck?!?  Well, this is a true case of trash to treasure.  Or maybe treasure that shouldn’t have been trash, but was trash and someone else saw it was actually a treasure and not trash and returned it to treasure status again?  Either way, it’s lovely and Jessica treated her right.  (…in the trash.  What is this world coming to?)

Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…

1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.

2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.

3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF.

Enjoy the party!

I couldn’t believe it was in the trash either!! and not only that but that the matching bed frame which just so happens to have a curved footboard…was out there too! Ha ha! If we lived near Dear Emmeline, my husband would be asking her come over take pieces of furniture out of our garage for free! He wants to get rid of everything and I want to keep everything!

  17. Hi Marian,
Well, I’m hooked. I loved my first try with your line of milk paint. I used the Shutter Gray because I’m a blue girl. I also ordered the ironstone and waxes. Can’t wait to do another project.
You were right there with me (video consulting)! Fun.

I would really like to know where the person lives that actually threw away that stunning vanity. I would set up camp right beside their trash and wait for more. Just the sight of that beautiful piece made my heart beat a little faster! I totally agree, what is this world coming to? Absolutely gorgeous paint job too! What a find!!
