Hello all of my furniture-loving friends. Let me tell you…I was so blown away by the entries last week, I couldn’t restrain myself to only three favorites, so I picked four. Here they are…

I love the beauty and simplicity of this piece by Puttin’ on the Grits. The color is beautiful and those drawer pulls…wow. Love them. LOVE. …and the mirror and the lamp and everything. Just lovely.

I like it when I’m surprised. I hate those 1940′s waterfall pieces and always avoid them. There’s something about the lines and the hardware that does not fit into my aesthetic. That’s why I was so surprised that this desk caught my eye. Andrea from Town & Prairie took the style of this piece and make it work. The Swiss details and stenciled typography look awesome. Andrea is a clever girl.

I thought this Bombay chest makeover by Danielle of Silver Pennies was gorgeous as well. The color, decorative painting and subtle antiquing are perfection.
And last, but not least is this beautiful antique chest by Kathleen of Between Yellow & Blue. Again, this piece is simple, but it’s so beautiful. You know I’m a fan of the wood top with the painted base and I am so glad this piece has the original hardware and Kathleen used it. Not surprisingly, this piece sold fast, which is the highest compliment of all!

Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…
1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.
2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.
3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF.
Enjoy the party!

Your features are great! I love the Bombay chest- the details are fabulous! Thank you for hosting!
Wow! Marian, thank you so much for featuring my dresser this week. It really is such an honor to be recognized by you. I look up to you and your painted pieces so much. Thank you for giving me advice on brushes it really helped. All the features are beautiful.
THanks so much for being so amazing! For some reason my picture isn’t showing up with my post (#11) sad but hope you’ll pop over and check it out anyway!
Hi Marian, thanks for hosting the linky party! I linked up an industrial cart I have had and finally found a spot for this summer. I hope it falls into the category of ‘furniture’. If you don’t think so please delete it!
Hi Marian! I’ve been eyeing and drooling over Danielle’s Bombay chest ever since she first posted it. It’s one of the most beautiful painted pieces I think I’ve ever seen. I’m glad you featured it! Thanks for hosting!
Hi Marion – thanks so much for hosting – especially with

Thank you so much for hosting, Marian.
I would love to have that 1st feature be the welcoming vignette in my home. I am pinning that one. So beautiful!
Thank you again for hosting another FFF. Way to encourage other furniture painters out there. Love your nurturing spirit! God bless!

Always love your parties, love the featured items, love making new friends! Thanks for hosting! ~ Judy
Great features! The last one -the green chest- makes me remember my recent post sharing all my shabby green pieces of furniture of my new/vintage kitchen, so I have joined the party.
Thank you very much for hosting!

Thank you, Marion, for your mention of me in your features. I appreciate your recognition and look forward to joining many of your linkies in the future! I wish you all the best with your line of milk paint, too. Regards, Andrea @ townandprairie
great features thanks for hosting have a great weekend
Marian, I just had a thought which I’m sure you have thought of many times. With your support of Annie Sloan and now MMS Milk paint, you are leading a national repurposing trend. All these old pieces of furniture are not going to the dump. Also, you are giving families the benefit of beautiful real wood furniture instead of allergy inducing pressed board junk. People are enjoying real furniture again, not the assemble it yourself plastic laminated wood chip stuff. Ann
Home is your sanctuary. The place you go back to every night and somehow it doesn’t seem right. Your home is an expression of who you are and if you walk out each of a place that you does not seem to belong to you then probably your home needs improvement.Plasterer in Surrey

Love these inspirations! Looking for one of your earlier posts, and cannot find it! It’s the one about the cardboard template you made for hanging curtain rods…
Here it is… http://missmustardseed.com/2011/11/hanging-a-curtain-rod-made-simple/

When decorating, you don’t need an overly-specific theme, just an idea of how you want your space to look. Pick out your favorite items to put on display and, if possible, put the rest in storage. You can keep things current by rotating pieces every couple of months. Garage Door Repair Harrison
Replacing garage door hinges is required every couple of years. You’ll know when to replace your hinges if you find yourself struggling to close or open the doors. Again, safety is a must and if you have zero idea about doors, it would be best to leave it to a garage door repair service vendor.
