Hello and welcome to Furniture Feature Friday…the place where blog land furniture lovers gather to share, show off, mingle and get some inspiration. Here are some of my favorites from last week…
Jilly from Jilly & Mia transformed these beautiful French caned chairs by painting the dated floral upholstery fabric. They look absolutely amazing, now! …and you know I’m a sucker for a French caned chair.
Speaking of French chairs, I love this beautiful upholstery job by Julia of 551 East. The fabric is what really makes this chair special. It’s classic, but has a fresh, updated look as well.
And this is one of the most creative furniture makeovers I’ve seen in a long time. I know those of us who love to restore furniture have a hard time admitting when a piece is beyond saving. Sharon from Glazed from the Heart found a way to get around that with this dilapidated dresser. She turned it into furniture for her garden! Brilliant, Sharon!
Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…
1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.
2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.
3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF.
