something special

Last year I made a couple hundred mini cupcakes with my logo stamped in the top to give away at the Lucketts Antique Market. I knew I wanted to bring something special to give to customers who come to my booth again this year, but I also knew I didn’t want to be baking until almost midnight the night before (again.)  So, I talked with a couple of my girls, Jami from Freckled Laundry and Reni from Bliss & Tell.  The three of us came up with some clay tags that read “move mountains.”  I think it’ll be a nice little reminder for people who visit me that they can move mountains in their own homes…in their own lives.

Jami made them in yellow, gray and pale blue.

Reni designed the paper closure for the bag.

I think that says it all.

I’ll be giving these away for free at my booth at the Lucketts Antique Market May 19-20.

One last thing!  The winner of the Janet Hopkins’ giveaway is Tisha Rhone.  Congrats!

  1. Oh, I absolutely love them! Hopefully I’ll see you at the fair! By the way, it’s so incredibly kind (and uncommon) to reply to so many of your readers’ comments and questions. It really shows that you’re a generous and helpful person. :)

  2. Oh, and one more thing: I just re-covered some chair seats with what I think is your drapery fabric! Thanks for the inspiration!

  6. I can’t be there at Luckett’s, sadly, but curious if you’d be selling them off your site anytime soon? They’d made a wonderful gift – especially for graduates … or really just anyone!! Please please!?

Hi Marian, I just found your blog this morning when researching how to paint my kitchen cabinets. It will definitely be one that I follow. Also wanted to stay that I love your giveaways. Such a special verse for so many. Praying that it will touch hearts of unbelievers. Blessings!

The tags are adorable! I would love to make some sea inspired tags. I was wondering if you would share what type of clay Jami used & did she use metal stamps for the words?
    Thanks!

I have no idea! You can send Jami and e-mail and see if she’s share her process. Sorry I’m not much help.
