Furniture Feature Friday – Favorites & a Link Party

Time for another FFF!  I’m a little short on words (and time) tonight, so I’ll just get right to my favorites from last week…

Maria from Our Lake Life reupholstered these barrel backed chairs and they look amazing.  Actually, the entire room is amazing, which is what really caught my eye.  Look at the fabrics, colors and textures Maria created.  It’s just gorgeous!

Julia from 551 East Furniture Designs bought this vanity with plans of painting it yellow.  She started sanding down the black paint to reveal this amazing acid green and the natural wood underneath.  Instead of sticking with her original plan, she threw that out the window and went with it.  The result is this gorgeous piece that was certainly a happy accident.  I love it!


Lastly, Farmer’s Wyfe from Pumpkin Pie Painter painted and refinished this beautiful dresser.  I love the bold color against the neutral surroundings and the warmth of the wood top.

1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.

2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.

3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF.

    Thanks so much for hositng, Marian. What a happy surprise that green vanity must have been, love it! I’m so excited to share my bathroom cabinet that I added legs and skirts to give it that furniture look. Sounds kinda’ weird, doesn’t it? Putting legs and skirts on furniture???

    I was upset because I did not have anything to share on your party (I have been down with a flu), but decided to show an old trunk a friend of mine gave me. She saw my White trunk on my blog and gave me another one for free!!!
