Sneak Peeks

The next ten days are going to be intense. I’m making my final push to finish the photography and projects for the book (as well as tweaking some of the tutorials.)  I did have a very productive day, so I am feeling like I’m in a pretty good place, but I do have to squeeze as much as I can into every minute.  I think I definitely will need a massage when it’s all done and maybe a full day in bed watching movies.

I can’t show what I’m working on, but I can show a few sneak peeks…

…and my house is a mess.

Mini is helping to keep me straight, though.  She even cleaned out my van today, since it was a disaster.

Despite the stress and the hard work, I’m really enjoying this process and I’m learning so much about what I would do differently if I ever write another book.

If you need a smile, visit my Facebook page and read through the improptu meeting of the “I’m me and I’m awesome” club.  Some very awesome ladies shared a little bit about themselves and you can’t help but smile at all of the awesomeness.  You’re welcome to join in as well.

  18. Can’t wait to see the finished projects….the “sneaks” look awesome! You always find the coolest pieces…and then of course turn them into something special! p.s. Thanks for hosting the I’m awesome meeting. Sometimes you just need to reflect on the successes in your life (good way to keep perspective and remain thankful for all God has done).

Glad to see I’m not the only one who paints/stains/etc in the middle whatever room I’m in..paint cans on dining room table look familiar!! I know your book will be fantastic…can’t wait to see it!

  24. For me, creativity IS messy whether it’s painting, sewing or cooking. Somehow I can’t be creating and housekeeping at the same time. A recent guest said to me “did you know you have a can of paint in your (seldom used) shower?”. Uh, yeah.

Can’t wait to see what you have created for us!

  25. Good luck and can’t wait to see the finished product! I just finished painting the black chairs I had asked you about…the Sherwin Williams black enamel paint worked great! Thanks again for the wonderful recommendation Marion!
