Furniture Feature Friday – Favorites & a Link Party

As always, I loved looking through all of the links from the party last week.  You never cease to impress!  Here are a couple that caught my eye…

I love this boy’s dresser from Kristi at Kris Kraft.  OK, the fan caught my eye as well.  I think the two-tone technique, handmade rope handles and numbering are all done so well.  Love it!

If you have kids, you know that stage of trying to make all of the necessary baby gear work with your decor as best you can.  Well, the Anu from Nalle’s House made a feeding chair slipcover to coordinate with her kitchen.  Very clever!

Enjoy the party!!

Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…

1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.

2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.

3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF.

Enjoy the party!

  3. You sure host a fun party! I’m back!!

  4. man, it looks like i broke your whole website.

    • just thinking…um… out loud here but if my comment shows up and my link won’t then maybe i did only break the link party.

wouldn’t it be kind of funny if i just kept linking and linking and linking … you get it… and then, when it decided to be nice again, my link filled up like five rows of the party?

okay, maybe you have to be here.

  5. Hi! Looks like some great stuff again this week!
I’ve been working on a switch to wordpress. Just contacted penny lane design this week – I’m getting in way over my head! One of the things I was not liking about the switch was having to give up google friends connect. I like seeing my followers and I like seeing how many followers others have. anyway a friend of mine just blogged about a replacement and I’m really excited about it. Don’t know if you want a replacement but thought I would tell you since you have wordpress too. If you go to my blog you will see my post about it. I’m really liking it so far. Just an FYI in case you didn’t know about it yet. I’ve been searching for a replacement and hadn’t found one.
    Blessings on your weekend;)

I am redoing a small dresser for a bedside table. Have stained the top walnut but it’s not as dark as I’d hoped. I was thinking of using Fiddes & Sons dark rugger brown wax over the top to try to darken it. Do you think that’s a good idea?

I love your blog! I just purchased a mid century buffet for my music room to store music. I hate mid centruy but the price was great and it serves my purpose for purchasing but I have no clue how to dress it up to match my decor. Can you help me?
