Furniture Feature Friday – A Link Party

I’m so sorry if you tried to visit my blog today and only saw a “bandwidth exceeded” message.  My wonderful blog designer got it all sorted out.  Due to the technical difficulties and a very full day, I did not get to select my favorites for FFF.  I will definitely have some to share next week, though.  Enjoy the party!!

Here are the rules for our furniture get-together…

1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please…just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it’s not because I’m mean, it’s because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.

2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.

3.) This party will close Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their piece(s) on next week’s FFF.

Enjoy the party!

I’ve enjoyed your blog for a few years now and appreciate your giving nature of your ‘know how.’ I’d like to share a sad story, though, so that we may all practice extra safety in this craft. A friend of my family had their garage burn down this past week. Luckily it was unattached to the house and their young family is okay; however, refinishing furniture is his business and this is how their income is made (he did it in the garage). Evidently rags he used for the furniture refinishing process (stripping?) were not stored properly and they believe this was the cause of the fire. He believes they should have been stored in a metal container after use and they were exposed to the air instead. I think somewhere in your past posts/tutorials you may have mentioned the importance of this safety tip, but I just wished to restate it, so all of us stay safe.

this is my first time linking up and i am so excited to check out everyone’s furniture makeovers. today, i am contemplating a buffet paint job and wishing zig zag masking tape existed so i could do a quick chevron on the doors!

I posted a link to Chandeliers I Made… It is chandeliers and table lamps that I actually made so I hope they are considered furniture :) but, if not, I understand… I didn’t realize it might not be until after I posted. Thanks again for being our host!

    Blessings!
